Rizwan (Riz) Virk is an MIT-trained computer scientist, game entrepreneur, and author. He co-founded mobile monetization company Tapjoy, later founded Play Labs — the MIT-linked summer accelerator for playful-technology startups — and is a venture partner at Griffin Gaming Partners. He holds degrees from MIT and Stanford GSB and completed Ph.D. work at ASU’s College of Global Futures. His books include The Simulation Hypothesis and The Simulated Multiverse.
