Dr. Omar Suleiman is an American imam, author, and civil-rights advocate, and the founder and president of the Yaqeen Institute for Islamic Research. He is an adjunct professor of Islamic Studies at Southern Methodist University, founding director of MUHSEN, and a resident scholar at Valley Ranch Islamic Center in Texas. Born and raised in New Orleans to a Palestinian family, he writes and teaches widely on faith, character, and justice. His books include Allah Loves and Meeting Muhammad ﷺ.
